Tell us about your business?

Belma Services provides high quality HR Services to new and small Business owners; and Employers throughout the UK. Whether you are looking to fully outsource your HR function, receive ongoing HR support, or just to find an HR Consultant to offer on-site HR Services, Belma Services will give you the support of dealing with employment issues ensuring compliance and saving you time and money.

We provide easy to use cloud HR software systems designed for SME’s. We also offer one-on-one tutor led e-learning courses that are packed with all the information employees need to keep your business safe and compliant.

What excites you most about the work you do?

Making a difference in the workplace through employee development and influencing strategic business decisions.

I connect with clients at a deeper level and can influence their activities and procedures leading to improved processes and efficiency. I enjoy coming up with solutions that meet their needs and requirements, and on the overall empowering them to move towards their corporate goals.

How do you make your employees happy?

I hope to make my employees happy by valuing their contributions and involving them in decision making.

What qualities do you look for most in your employees?

The qualities that I look for in an employee, is someone who is proactive and adaptable to the business’s needs.

Other than your own, which other businesses are exciting you right now?

Cloud software business.

Companies are becoming more dependent on software services, than they were before.

Especially with transition to the cloud. The benefits of cloud computing outweigh, the cost and a lot of companies, particularly small businesses rely on it to solve their problems.

What's your best piece of employee management advice?

Keeping employees happy, motivated and productive is key to business success and profitability, and a good HR management structure is essential in creating and maintaining a healthy company culture and working environment.

What one business application/piece of software could you not live without?

breatheHR software

It’s a very practical and easy to use HR system which centralises employees’ information all in one place. Because of the nature of my work, I am always on the go and sometimes can only work from the office a few times in a week. The breatheHR software has made life a lot easier for me as I can now access and easily manage my employees’ data from anywhere through my laptop or mobile app.

If you could employ one famous person who would it be and why?

Richard Branson.

I like his energy and determination. His messages and quotes motivate me all the time. I am greatly inspired by how he turns ideas into reality, he has achieved so much by doing this and I similarly believe in this philosophy too.
